Expanding Mental Health Services - 12/14 Press Release

Peterborough Clinical Associates (PCA) welcomes three new psychotherapists to the ranks of their group of independent practitioners. Joining Dr. Michael Weil, and Maureen O’Brien are Emily Noyes, Alexis Murray-Golay and Ross Davidson.

Emily Noyes is a Licensed Clinical Mental health Counselor, working adults and couples, with more than 20 years of experience. Areas of specialization include trauma, depression, sexual identity difficulties; grief and loss; transitions, anger management, stress management, and anxiety. Ms. Noyes practices Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for people suffering from PTSD. Ms. Noyes is also trained in mediation, teaches yoga, and is currently a level 2 practitioner in Reiki therapy.  “My passions are alleviating suffering and helping people grow to appreciate themselves, others and life by strengthening the mind-body connection and improving interpersonal communication.”

Alexis Murray-Golay, a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, has been working with clients of all ages over the past 13 years. Currently, she sees teenagers, adults, and families who are coping with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, personality disorders, parenting issues, stress management, and other life changes. Using a relational approach, as well as mindfulness, meditation, DBT skills, and EMDR, Alex likes to work together to resolve these challenges. “It is my privilege to work alongside you, using your strengths and resources to help you achieve the change you want. I believe growth and change are always possible.”

Doing business under the name of Building Blocks Child and Adult Psychotherapy, LLC, Ross Davidson, also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Davidson has been practicing psychotherapy for 10 years, working with children, adults, couples and families. Mr. Davidson treats depression, anxiety, PTSD, Attention Deficit/Hyper Activity Disorder and Personality Disorders. Mr. Davidson utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, including psychodynamic, humanistic, and transpersonal psychologies. With children, Mr. Davidson utilizes projective play, sand tray and art therapies. “Every one of us has strengths. Let me help you find yours.”

Located at 20 Grove Street in Peterborough, New Hampshire, Peterborough Clinical Associates provides private and confidential counseling and therapy for children and adults of all ages, in individual, couple or family sessions. Since 1988, PCA’s licensed and experienced professionals have helped children and adults resolve or manage many devastating mental health difficulties.

PCA provides services to clients of the Monadnock Region and Northern Massachusetts, offering a variety of techniques, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychoanalytic psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR, art therapy, coaching and play therapy.
